Hanover Square, Syracuse, New York

Over the years, Downtown Decorations has had the opportunity to work on many projects in the Syracuse, New York area. Our company is based in East Syracuse, so these projects are always especially exciting for us. We are happy to be a part of the beautification efforts, and hope our décor brings added life and energy to Central New York.

Recently, we had the pleasure of producing new banners for Hanover Square in downtown Syracuse. The triangular-shaped public park is the center piece of the Hanover Square Historic District, which was the first commercial district in Syracuse. The square was built back in 1834 and has been on the list of the U.S. National Register of Historic Places since 1976. The area is still thriving today. It is the venue for many festivals, as well as a popular place to drink and dine.

The new banners feature a picture of the park’s gorgeous fountain with the words Hanover Square Est. 1834. Printed in orange, black and white, we think these banners add even more style to the already charming downtown hot spot.
