In 2012, Downtown Decorations began working with Wild Waves
Theme Park in Federal Way, Washington. Wild Waves, which originally opened as
The Enchanted Village in 1977, is the largest combination water park and
amusement park in the entire Pacific Northwest. Thousands flock to the theme park
each year to enjoy thrill rides, water slides and entertainment. In addition to
all of the summer fun, the park stays open in December and January for the Wild
Waves Theme Park Holiday with Lights. During this time, the park transforms
into a glowing wonderland, featuring over 1 million lights. In the center of
all of the holiday décor stands a giant tree from Downtown Decorations. In
2012, we designed the huge 24 ft. tree lit with almost 10,000 cool white
lights. On top of that, we produced a 4 ft. snowburst topper to add some
additional pop. Officials at Wild Waves loved the tree so much that they wanted
to add more of it in 2013. Since all of Downtown Decorations' trees are completely customizable, we were able to create a 6 ft. extension, bringing the tree to 30 ft. in height.
Downtown Decorations, Inc. designs and produces commercial holiday decorations and light pole banners for municipalities, shopping centers, colleges, casinos and event venues. No matter what your décor needs are, the DDI team welcomes the opportunity to work with you. Visit www.downtowndecorations.com or call 877.369.6332 for more information.

Mashpee Commons
For the past four years, Downtown Decorations has been working with Mashpee
Commons, a 278,946 sq. ft. open-air shopping center located on Cape Cod in the
city of Mashpee, Massachusetts. The unique outdoor complex has over 95 stores
that include both national retailers and local mom-and-pops. Mashpee Commons is
also well known for its New England style design, which has won many awards and
recognitions over the years.
Downtown Decorations first designed banners for the commons
back in 2010 and then again in 2012. We think the simple yet stylish design of
the banners adds a nice touch to the world renowned shopping center.

Fredericksburg, Texas
In 2011, the City of Fredericksburg, Texas contacted
Downtown Decorations to create a full holiday décor program for their downtown.
Officials wanted a program that would really enhance holiday tourism in the
city.
Our design team first decided to brighten up the space by
adding a ton of lights to their already existing trees. We placed 2,000 sets of LED lights on 40 trees. In addition to the trees, we added lights to the rooflines of the downtown buildings. Overall, we produced more than 24,000 ft. of lights for the city.
Next, we added 80 five ft. side mount pole wreaths and 40 3 ft.
center mount pole wreaths to the light poles throughout their downtown. Each
wreath also contained a red bow and lights to add even more pop.
We then added 10 sets of custom cross street décor to hang
over their main streets. This was to increase the visual appeal outside of where the
majority of the lights were located.
Lastly, we created the center piece of the whole décor package
- a huge 30 ft. double lit ornamented artificial tree with a giant 5 ft. custom
star topper.
We absolutely love the way this project turned out. As you
can see in the pictures below, the full décor package not only illuminates their
downtown, but creates a captivating holiday environment.

Tampa, Florida
Last year, Downtown Decorations teamed up with the Tampa
Convention Center to create a one of a kind Christmas display. The 600,000 sq. ft. convention center, which
is located on the waterfront in downtown Tampa, Florida, hosts everything from
conferences to international exhibitions to green events. Officials contacted
us because they wanted a holiday décor item that would be truly unique to the
center.
The center planned on using some previously purchased
ornaments, ribbon and décor items but needed the canvas to create their exceptional
holiday display. We provided them with a huge 22 ft. tree and a giant 4 ft.
snowburst topper to complement their design. We think the collaboration turned
out great!

Seattle, Washington
In 2013, the Westlake Center, a premier four-story shopping center located in the heart of downtown Seattle, Washington, contacted us to design some giant ornaments to fill a new space that opened up in their food court area. They really wanted a design that would impress visitors. We worked with the center to create some large overhead ornaments that would not only produce the visual appeal they wanted, but also stayed within their budget.
Our team came up with unique designs for three custom sized décor items – a white and red 4 ft. ornament, a red and white 5 ft. 6 inch ornament, and a red 7 ft. ornament. The 7 ft. ornament, which is the center piece of the décor project, features lights sewn into the seams to provide a magnificent illuminated look.

San Francisco, California
San Francisco, California – San Fran, Fog City, The Golden Gate City, The City by the Bay, Everybody’s Favorite City. It's all around one of the greatest cities in the United States. And we are proud to be able to say that “if you’re going to San Francisco, be sure to spot our decor in Union Square.” We're making Scott McKenzie proud.
Last year, we worked with the Union Square Business Improvement District to design two giant wreaths for Union Square, which is located on Market Street in downtown San Francisco. The eight foot lit wreaths feature silver, copper and gold ornaments. In addition to the wreaths, we also supplied the square with eight 14 inch around, 20 foot long pieces of deluxe garland.

Independence, Missouri
Back in 2011, Downtown Decorations was approached by the city of Independence, Missouri to create a unique custom giant tree. The tree was to be displayed outside of the Jackson County Courthouse in the center of the downtown area, which sees a lot of foot traffic. The city, which is the hometown of Harry S. Truman, is actually the fourth largest in Missouri and has over 117,000 residents. Independence is also home to the headquarters of several denominations of the Latter Day Saint movement, including the Community of Christ.
Our design team came up with a pattern for the tree that was unlike anything else. The huge 24 foot tree features some more traditional décor items like the classic green, red, silver, and gold ornaments and bright white lights but it also showcases some truly unique items like the striking red bows scattered throughout and a giant four foot star tree topper. We think the traditional mixed with the unique makes for one spectacular looking tree.

Orlando International Airport
Downtown Decorations teamed up with the Orlando International Airport in 2013 to create a very unique custom light up base for their giant tree. The airport, which is located in Orlando, Florida, is the 13th busiest in the United States and the 33rd busiest in the world, according to passenger traffic numbers. Airport officials contacted us to help create a spectacular holiday display that would be remembered by travelers from around the world. Our design team came up with this one of a kind custom light up tree base. The base measures two feet high and 15 feet around. At night, the white v-shaped patterns illuminate to create an outstanding and unforgettable display.

Geneva, New York
In 2011, Downtown Decorations was contacted by the city of
Geneva, New York to design some holiday décor for their downtown. Located on
Seneca Lake, the largest of the Finger Lakes, Geneva is a popular vacation spot
known for its wineries and beautiful outdoor scenery. The small city nestled in
the Finger Lakes wine country brings in thousands of visitors each year. With the
increasing popularity of the city, officials decided they needed the
very best holiday decorations to show off their thriving downtown. We provided the city with more than 50 three foot snowflake pole
decorations, pole wraps, and a large amount of LED lights. Our décor lines the main downtown street and we could not be happier with the way it all turned out.

Calhoun, Georgia
In 2011, Downtown Decorations teamed up with Calhoun, Georgia's Downtown Development Authority to create an enormous sphere tree for the city. Calhoun has around 16,000 residents and is located just 50 miles south of the charming Chattanooga, Tennessee, and 70 miles north of the fast-paced Atlanta, Georgia. Due to its location, many people pass through Calhoun each year. The city decided that they really wanted to impress their visitors and residents with some memorable holiday decor.
